Pratap Nagar: Stray Dogs Attack & Injure Woman In Pratap Nagar | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: A 44-year-old woman was injured after two stray dogs attacked her inside a gated community in Pratap Nagar on Sunday. An FIR in the case was registered at the Pratap Nagar police station on Monday.
“The stray dogs attacked my daughter, Deepika who is undergoing treatment. The same stray dogs have attacked as many as 10 persons in our locality, including a 63-year-old man,” said Deepika’s mother Goma Sagar.
Acting on Sagar’s complaint, police filed an FIR against two women under IPC Section 289 (Negligent conduct with respect to animals).
“We live in a gated community and there is a common garden outside each house. These dogs regularly attack residents. My domestic help’s daughter was also attacked by the same stray dogs,” said Goma Sagar.
“We have received the FIR and a probe is underway about the case,” said an official, adding that the complainant has alleged that two women feed the stray dogs.
