Woman Files Rape Case Against Cop | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A 26-year-old woman on Thursday filed a case against a Rajasthan police official at the Vidhyadhar Nagar police station for allegedly raping her.
Additional DCP (North) Dharmendra Sagar said that the woman in her complaint to the police has not identified the accused by his post, but has claimed that he is an official of the Rajasthan police.
SHO (Vidhrahdar Nagar) Virendra Kureel said that the 26-year-old woman lived in a rented accommodation in the city. “She has alleged that she met the official through social media a few years ago. Following this, they met. The woman alleged that the accused made physical relations with her but later refused to marry her,” he said.
He also said that the woman later gave birth to a child, “She has also alleged that the official took her gold jewellery,” Kureel added. Police said that they have registered a case. TNN
