JAIPUR: The state on Friday reported its third dengue death in 12 days. The cases of dengue are on the rise. The death was reported from Jhunjhunu, while two deaths happened earlier in Jaipur.
According to the health department report issued on Friday, the number of dengue cases have increased from 983 to 1330 with 347 new cases reported from August 1 to August 11.
In Jaipur, 63 dengue cases have been reported in 11 days. The department has directed its officials across the state to keep a check on vector-borne disease and take preventive measures. TNN
