The four men had allegedly sold and re-sold a piece of land to an NRI in Udaipur, despite he being the actual owner of the land, for Rs 1.82 crore by making the property appear disputed.
ACB had arrested the four accused after the NRI lodged a case with the agency, saying he he was compelled to re-purchase his own plot of land for Rs 1.83 crore. “He said the accused pressurized him by making his property look disputed with the presence of fake owners. The role of two more persons in this conspiracy has been detected. They would be arrested soon,” said an ACB officer.
