Forest Fender, Cattle Guard Held For Taking 5k Bribe | Jaipur News

KOTA: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at Jhalawar arrested a forest guard and a cattle guard after the duo was caught red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 5000 from a farmer at Bapawar forest check post, in Kanwas range of Kota district, on Friday.
The two had demanded a bribe of Rs 6,000 monthly to allow movement of the complainant farmer’s tractor-trolley through the check post, near Parvan River in the forest range. After a negotiation, the amount was settled at Rs 5,000 monthly.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), ACB, Jhalawar, said a team led by inspector Ramesh Arya arrested forest guard Babulal Gurjar and cattle guard Jagdish Prasad Gochar, both posted at Bapawar forest check post, on Friday after the duo took a bribe of Rs 5,000. After a farmer lodged a complaint with ACB, a trap was laid at Bapawar forest check post and the two officials were arrested, he added. TNN
