POCSO court 3 of the city convicted Rajesh (40), resident of Budhadeet area in Kota district to life term in jail till last breath for raping the minor girl of his village in February this year, said public prosecutor, POCSO court – 3 Lalit Kumar Sharma. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 24,000 upon the convict, he added.
The father of the minor survivor lodged a report at Budhadeet police station on February 10 and alleged charges of rape against Rakesh after his daughter was diagnosed with 25 weeks pregnancy, he said.
The minor rape survivor mentioned in the report that the convict barged into his house while her parents were away and raped her by threatening not to disclose the act to anyone, he further added.
