Work Orders: Bisalpur Ii Project Contractor Under Scanner, Fir Filed | Jaipur News

Jaipur: After Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) projects, appointment of contractor under the Bisalpur II project is also under scanner. On Monday, an additional chief engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) lodged a complaint with Bajaj Nagar police station against a contractor alleging that he submitted fake certificate to get work orders under the Bisalpur II project.

“The company in question has got work orders to lay pipelines in Kho Nagoriyan localities. These localities are scheduled to get Bisalpur water under the Bisalpur II project. Following an alarm, we investigated this firm and found that the firm has submitted fake documents,” said a PHED official.
On behalf of the department, additional chief engineer Ajoy Singh Rathore lodged the FIR. Police have started an inquiry following the complaint. The complaint came barely three days after a high-level committee formed by the state government found that two firms had submitted fake certificates of a Union government undertaking to obtain work orders for projects under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The committee had directed the chief engineer (JJM) of PHED to cancel all work orders given to two these companies.

Earlier, the anti-corruption bureau had booked the owner of these two firms in a bribery case.
