Solanki: Case Against Cong Mla Solanki For Alleged Land Grab In Chaksu | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A woman has lodged a cheating case against Congress MLA Ved Prakash Solanki for allegedly grabbing her 4.56-hectare plot at Chaksu. The woman in her FIR lodged at Bajaj Nagar police station on Saturday alleged that the legislator got the land registered in his name and did not pay.
According to police, the FIR has been lodged by one Kaushalya Devi, a resident of Khatipura in Jhotwara. Bajaj Nagar police on Monday sent the case to the crime branch-CID wing of Rajasthan Police.
Solanki refuted the allegations made by the woman stating that he had issued a cheque of Rs 30 lakh to her, which is also been mentioned in the registry of the land. “I have got the registry in my name only after making all the required payment to the seller. This is a conspiracy against me,” Solanki said in a press conference on Monday.
The woman in her complainant said that she had a land at Bhurtiyan Kalan in Chaksu area on the outskirts of Jaipur. In July 2013, she sold the land to one Jeetesh Agarwal of Meenawala Grah Nirman Sehkari Samiti Limited. “For registry, she and her husband Ramesh Chandra was taken to the government quarters of Solanki at Gandhi Nagar where the legislator fraudulently got the land registered in his name. The woman also stated that she has not received any cheque in this case,” said a senior officer of Bajaj Nagar while quoting the FIR.
When contacted, Bajaj Nagar SHO Devendra Kumar said, “The matter dates back to 2013 when the complainant looking to sell her land was duped by middleman and the land was registered in the name of MLA Ved Prakash Solanki. In the complaint, the woman has claimed that she has not yet received money.”
Based on the complaint, an FIR was lodged on Saturday against Solanki under Sections 420 (Cheating), 406 (Criminal breach of trust), and 120-B (Criminal Conspiracy).
Police said since the matter is related to an MLA, the case would be sent to crime branch of Rajasthan police.
