Rajasthan assembly elections: Congress meet to finalise candidates on October 17 | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) is scheduled to convene on October 17 to deliberate on the selection of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections, slated to take place on November 25.
PCC general secretary and spokesperson Swarnim Chaturvedi said on October 13 at 5pm, the state election committee meeting will be held in the state Congress committee war room under the chairmanship of state president Govind Singh Dotasra and the screening committee meeting is proposed to be held in Delhi on October 14. The party is yet to release its list of candidates while BJP has released its first list of 41 candidates including seven MPs in the Assembly polls.
The Congress will begin its election campaign by none other than party national president Mallikarjun Kharge from Baran from October 16 with “Kaam Kiya Dil Se, Congress Fir Se” as its slogan. He said All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will address a huge public meeting in Sikrai, Dausa on October 20.
