Hit-And-Run: Tragic incident: 2 devotees from Gujarat killed in hit-and-run Jaisalmer | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: In a hit-and-run case registered by Pokhran police station in Jaisalmer, a group of devotees from Mehsana in Gujarat going on foot to Baba Ramdev’s shrine in Ramdevra was hit by a vehicle on Sunday night, leaving two devotees, including a woman, dead on the spot and two others injured.
Police brought the injured to Pokhran hospital for treatment and kept the bodies in mortuary during the night.When relatives of the deceased arrived from Mehsana on Monday, police conducted postmortem and handed over the bodies. Police are searching for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
2 soldiers seriously wounded in accident: In another road accident, two army soldiers were seriously injured in Lathi village on Sunday night in a collision between an army truck and a truck laden with bricks. The injured soldiers were identified as Balkrishna, 40, and Balveer, 42. The army truck was leaving from MES and going towards the army camp located near the Pokhran railway station.

54-year-old co executive dies in hit-and-run
A senior manager of Bharat Petroleum (BPCL-Electrical), Anaiah Rangappa (54), died in a bike accident on the old Mumbai-Pune highway near Barwai area in Navi Mumbai. The accident occurred when his bike was knocked down by an unknown vehicle, suspected to be a heavy vehicle traveling at high speed. Rangappa was a resident of Hiranandani Fortune City complex, which is located close to the accident spot.
