1 killed, 2 hurt in brawl at wedding in Rajasthan’s Kotkasim | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: At an accident during a wedding ceremony in Rajasthan’s Khairtal-Tijara district, a man lost his life, and two others sustained injuries following an altercation between two groups, as reported by the police on Wednesday.
The incident unfolded while guests were dancing in front of a DJ in the Kotkasim police station area late Tuesday night.
According to Station House Officer (SHO) Mahavir Singh Shekhawat, the clash arose during a wedding procession from Garhi, Haryana, attending the wedding of Babulal’s daughter in Matalwas village.A member of one group, engaged in dancing in front of the DJ, reportedly fired at the other group after a dispute related to an old rivalry.
Tragically, Aman Yadav (22) lost his life in the shooting, while Naveen (25) and Vikas (22) sustained injuries. The injured were taken to Rewari for treatment by their family members. After the post-mortem on Wednesday, Aman Yadav’s body was handed over to his family.
The SHO informed that a murder case has been registered against the absconding accused, and efforts are underway to apprehend the individual involved in the incident.
