2 Spies Held For Sharing Classified Defence Info | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The intelligence wing of Rajasthan police on Saturday arrested two persons from Bhilwara and Pali districts for allegedly spying and sending sensitive strategic information about army movements in the state through social media. Both were in touch with their Pakistani handlers for more than a year and were working as local ISI agents in lieu of earning money.
Umesh Mishra, Director General (Intelligence) said, “Both the accused got in touch with the Pakistani handlers almost a year ago. Since then they had been collecting and sending sensitive and secret information about the strategic movement of the army.”
“One of the arrested accused identified as Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, a resident of Virat Nagar in Jaipur who worked as salesman at a liquor shop at Jaitaran in Pali had created his social media account posing as a woman after getting directions from a Pakistani woman handler. He had befriended some of the army jawans on social media and gathered information and later passed it on to the Pakistani handlers,” said S Sengathir, Additional Director General (ADG), security while talking to TOI.
Another arrested accused identified as Naryan Lal Gadri (27) of Bemali village in Bhilwara also shared classified information with Pakistani handlers. tnn
