Jaipur: The crime branch of Jaipur police on Tuesday arrested a 27-year-old drug peddler and seized 25 quintals of doda post.
Additional commissioner of police (crime) Kailash Chand Bishnoi said that police teams had specific intelligence input that huge quantities of narcotic substances were being smuggled from Jharkhand to Jaipur.
Police identified the accused as Sharif Khan, a resident of Jodhpur. Police said that the accused used to fly to Ranchi in Jharkhand to fix drug deals. A notorious drug smuggler, Khan is also associated with notorious drug narcotics racketeer Bunty Bishnoi.
