Jaipur: Man jumps to death spotting lover’s hubby | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: A 29-year-old man, who was living in Pratap Nagar with a married woman, fell to his death after he spotted the woman’s husband heading to his apartment on Monday evening.
According to SHO, Pratap Nagar, Balveer Singh, the deceased, Mohsin Azam was ferried to the hospital where he died on Tuesday. His body was handed over to the family after post-mortem. According to Singh, the deceased was a native of Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh.
He had allegedly eloped with a married woman and had come to Jaipur only a few months ago. He was living in an apartment outside the NRI Colony in the city. As per Singh, on Monday afternoon, Azam spotted the woman’s husband walking towards the apartment. “He jumped from the window of his apartment in the fifth-floor,” Singh said.
He was bleeding profusely and ferried to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Tuesday. His family members were informed about the incident and they arrived here for the post-mortem. As per Singh, the police have filed an inquest report. He added that prima facie, the death appears to be suicide. Police said Azam had reportedly moved to Jaipur earlier this year. He was earlier residing in some other locality before shifting to apartments near NRI colony under the Pratap Nagar police station area.
While the city police have yet to corroborate when the he had eloped with the woman, they suspect that the woman’s husband had been searching for his wife for the past many months.
