Jaisalmer: The Desert Festival will start from February 2 in Pokhran with a grand procession from Salamsagar at 9am. It will be inaugurated on February 3 with a procession from Lakshminath temple which will reach Poonam stadium from the main routes of the city. Pokhran SDO Prabhjot Singh Gill said that all administrative preparations have been completed and formal inauguration will be done on February 2 at 10.30am in the school premises. For the first time kite flying will be organised and cultural programmes will be organised in the evening. On the other hand, the festival will be organised in Jaisalmer from February 3 to 5.
