4 grenades, 90 bullets among other ammunition recovered in Poonch | India News
SRINAGAR: The J&K Police on Sunday arrested two overground workers and recovered four hand grenades, 90 AK bullets and other ammunition from a hideout and the houses of the two arrested associates of terrorists in Mendhar subdivision of Poonch district.
An official said that security forces arrested Mushtaq Ahmed and Nisar Ahmed in a case registered at Gursai police station after the April 20 Army vehicle ambush in Bhata Dhurian in which five Army personnel lost their lives.
The official said an operation has been launched by police after sustained and professional questioning of the two, who have been booked under relevant sections of IPC, Explosive Substances Act and Indian Arms Act.
