SRINAGAR: Five terror suspects linked with the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit were arrested along with incriminating materials on Wednesday from Khag area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district by a joint team of police and Army’s 62RR.
A police spokesperson identified the Lashkar associates as Rouf Ahmad Wani, Hilal Ahmad Malik, Tawfeeq Ahmad Dar, Danish Ahmad Dar, and Showkat Ali Dar, all residents of Khag.
A case was registered in this connection under relevant sections of the law at Khag police station and an investigation was launched, the spokesperson said.
