Cops Bust Arms Racket, 3 Arrested With Pistols | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The crime branch of city police on Wednesday arrested three alleged arms smugglers and recovered a cache of illegal arms and ammunition.

Additional commissioner of police (crime) Kailash Chandra Bishnoi said that police arrested Amit Manda, Amit Pahlwan, and Dharmendra alias Lala and recovered six pistols and four magazines.
A team led by inspector Mangi Lal Vishnoi discovered that the accused purchased these eight illegal weapons from Khargone in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 1.20 lakh. The accused sold two pistols to another accused. Police said that the accused had been handed over to the Shyam Nagar police station.

“The accused are arms traffickers and involved in purchasing and selling of weapons,” said an official.
Police said that they were drawing a list of suspects who purchased guns from these accused in the past few months.
