Playing Card: 7 Held For Stalking, Harassing Women | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Following chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s recent directive to police authorities to take decisive action against individuals engaged in stalking and harassing women, the city police arrested seven youths on Wednesday for stalking and harassing girls and women.

According to police, Raj (18) and Pradeep Kumar (21) were apprehended at Jawahar Circle, where they were making indecent gestures towards a girl. The Nirbhaya squad arrested Surendra Singh (18), and Nirmal Singh (21) for stalking a minor girl.
In the third incident, the city police arrested Asif Ali (22) near Albert Hall. He was allegedly capturing photos and videos of women and girls without their consent.

In a comparable case, Mohammad Jisant Mansoori (22) was apprehended for stalking women and photographing them. When confronted by the police, he reportedly resisted arrest.
The police also arrested Mahaveer Singh (37) for allegedly making indecent gestures towards a minor girl.
An officer said that police units have been stationed at colleges, parks, malls, and cinema halls.
