Jaipur: An audio clip purportedly containing the voice of JMC Heritage mayor Munesh Gurjar’s husband, Sushil Gurjar, surfaced on the social media on Thursday and caused quite a stir.
In the 50-second clip, a man is heard saying that “even the chief minister cannot remove the mayor for two years, no matter how much support the mayor loses from the councillors.” The authenticity of the audio clip is, however, yet to be verified. Sushil Gurjar was arrested by ACB on August 4 while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 2 lakh for issuing a land deed to a person. Two middlemen – Narayan Singh and Anil Dubey – were also arrested by ACB in the case.
