Jaipur: A special team of Jaipur police Friday arrested three notorious vehicle lifters identified as Sukh Jeevan, Chandra Shekhar, Rajeev Sankhla. The police team included head constable Man Singh and Lal Singh Charan.

Punjab police constable held for drug peddling; would hang uniform in car to avoid police
A constable in Ludhiana has been arrested for his involvement in a drug peddling case. The constable and his friend allegedly ran a drug peddling operation for six months until his friend was arrested with opium. Further investigation revealed the constable’s role in the operation. The constable was identified as Harmandeep Singh and was posted at the Ludhiana police line. He would accompany his friend to procure opium and would hide his police uniform to avoid suspicion. The constable has been remanded in police custody for two days.
