JAIPUR: A 16-year-old boy died after being stung by bees while over a dozen other students were injured on their way to an educational and religious tour in Sikar district on Sunday morning. As many as 50 students of classes V to X accompanied by five staffers of Amar Bharti Educational Institute in Hardesar village of Churu district were heading to Jeen Mata and Khatu Shyam Ji temples in the district on a private bus hired by the school when the bee attack took place.

A 15-year-old boy in Jaipur lost his life after getting trapped in a pipe while cleaning an overhead water tank for Rs 100. The victim, Karmveer, was lured by a contractor along with two other boys. After completing the job, the two boys quickly came out of the tank, but Karmveer remained trapped when the contractor opened the tank’s valve. The police have registered a case against the contractor and his two sons, and the investigation is ongoing.
