Rajasthan: 20 Ips Officers Reshuffled Across Raj | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The state government reshuffled many key IPS officers in Rajasthan on Monday. The department of personnel issued orders for the transfer of 20 IPS officers, including the appointment of two DIG-level officers and changes in the SP positions in six districts.
IPS officer, 2008 batch, Preeti Chandra is the new DIG of the Armed Battalion in Jaipur, while Omprakash II is DIG for SDRF, Jaipur. The government has also transferred SPs in six districts. Devendra Kumar Vishnoi is now the SP-Jhunjhunu. Shyam Singh has taken over as SP of Bhilwara. Manish Tripathi is the new SP of Kekri. Krishna Chand is the SP of Shahpura, while Rajesh Kumar Yadav is the new SP of Gangapur City. Narendra Singh Meena is the SP of Dudu.
In addition to these changes, Rajkumar Gupta has been designated as SP of security, Jaipur, while Alok Srivastava assumes the role of SP-SOG, Jaipur. Pooja Awana has been appointed as SP of GRP in Ajmer, and Adarsh Sidhu will serve as commandant of the 12th Battalion, RAC, in New Delhi. Rajesh Kumar Kanwat is DCP-crime, Jaipur Commissionerate. Narayan Togas is DCP in Jaipur Metro.
Several other officers have also been redesignated within the police department, including DCP traffic in Jodhpur Commissionerate, Hanuman Prasad Meena, and DCP headquarters in the Jodhpur Commissionerate, Ramesh Maurya. Rajendra Kumar Meena assumes the role of DCP Crime in the Jodhpur Commissionerate, further strengthening crime control efforts in the city. Sushil Kumar has been appointed as the Commandant of the 5th Battalion RAC in Jaipur, while Sujit Shankar will serve as the assistant superintendent of police, Chomu .

LED streetlights on outskrits of Jaipur shortly
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is replacing old streetlights with smart LEDs on the outskirts of the city. The first phase of the project will see 5,000 smart LED lights installed in the next four months, at a cost of around Rs 11 crore. The JDA estimates that this will save them approximately Rs 3 crore annually on electric bills. Additionally, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has passed a proposal to replace 59,000 sodium vapor lights with energy-efficient LED lights on city roads.

Mayo Alumni Jaipur emerged victorious in the first edition of the USPA Legends Cup, defeating Mayo Alumni Udaipur with a score of 6-4. The winning team was led by Padmanabh Singh, who scored four goals, while Vikramaditya Singh Barkana contributed two goals. The Udaipur team’s top scorer was Rao Himmat Singh Bedla with three goals. The event was graced by Maharaj Jai Singh, who presented the trophy.
