Supported those charged with indiscipline: Sachin Pilot | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Thursday said that he welcomed all winning contenders for state assembly polls with an open heart, including some leaders who were accused of indiscipline in September last year. He was referring to the party high command notice to ministers Mahesh Joshi, Shanti Dhariwal and RTDC chairman Dharmendra Rathore who were charged with indiscipline after they orchestrated a parallel CLP meeting convened to the one called at CM’s residence to select a successor to Gehlot after he announced his decision to contest the party president’s election.
I didn’t oppose even a single candidate: Pilot
“Some people were accused of indiscipline in the party. But I have welcomed all proposals from winning candidates with an open heart, including those who had insulted Sonia Gandhi at that time in the interest of the party. I did not oppose even a single contender among them and there could be no greater proof of love than this,” he told media in Kandoli town of Dausa district in response to Gehlot’s statement that he would back MLAs from the Pilot’s camp also for party tickets.
Pilot was in Kandoli on Thursday evening to take stock of preparations for Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s meeting which will be held here on Friday.
