Jaipur: Former minister Rajendra Singh Gudha, who had made allegations of corruption against chief minister Ashok Gehlotand his son Vaibhav Gehlot, will face a different kind of problem while contesting from the Udaipurwati seat from Shiv Sena ticket. In this constituency, an Independent candidate who is his namesake is also contesting which has made Gudha to make special appeals to his voters.Known for his witty, hilarious and even bold statements, Gudha has been asking people to vote for him and don’t get confused with the namesake.
“Ajeeb Samasya Aa Gi (This is a weird problem),” Gudha said while talking to TOI. He added that he has an apprehension that people who don’t want to see him wining the seat had fielded this candidate and according to Gudha the name of this candidate is Rajendra Singh and the last name
“Gudha” has been unnecessarily added to create confusion. “I will check with the authorities and verify the documents of the candidate who is my namesake,” he added. TNN

Jana Sena makes poll debut in state, names eight candidates
The Jana Sena party has announced its candidates for eight seats in the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana. The party, which is making its poll debut in the state, will be contesting in alliance with the BJP. Despite initially expressing interest in contesting 36 seats, Jana Sena has settled for just 8-10 seats offered by the BJP. The party has also named a former BJP member as its nominee for one of the seats. The BJP is still considering whether to give another seat to Jana Sena as requested.
