Jaisalmer: An inspector of the police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) lost his life along with the driver of the vehicle when the Bolero car in which they were going to Chauhatan from Dhanau fell down 10 feet by the roadside on Wednesday evening at Chauhatan in Barmer district
Inspector Bheekharam and driver Khabad Khan and died on the spot while a third passenger, Hanumanaram, was injured, said Chauhatan deputy SP Sukhram Bishnoi, who reached the accident site along with police force.
The bodies have been kept in mortuary, while the injured were referred to the district hospital. People nearby pulled out the passengers from the vehicle, Bishnoi said. Family members of the deceased have been informed, he added. TNN
