No-Confidence Motion: Cong Councillors Threaten To Bring No-confidence Motion Against Gurjar | Jaipur News

Jaipur: As Rajasthan High Court gave relief to Munesh Gurjar on Friday, 36 Congress councillors from JMC Heritage threatened to bring a no-confidence motion and put in their resignations if needed.
Manoj Mudgal, a Congress councillor from JMC-Heritage, said, “Gurjar is like an idol of corruptionand she has used a technical ground to get relief from the high court. Not a single councillor is standing with the corrupt mayor. Themayor and her husband Sushil Gurjar have openly been involved in corruption while dealing with issuing land leases to residents.”
He added, “The husband was also jailed for this and investigation by ACB is still going on in that case.”
Mudgal further alleged that the mayor and her husband “used to take money in exchange of signatures on documents and the majority of the councillors are not with them.”
“The mayor is challenging the government’s order because councillors are not supporting her. Around 36 Congress councillors of JMC Heritage will ensure that a corrupt person does not hold the post of mayor. Even if we all must resign for this, we will take that step,” added Mudgal.
Meanwhile, while speaking to media, after getting relief from the high court, Munesh Gurjar said, “I have come to Vaishno Devi at this time. I have full faith in God. I am and will remain a member of the Congress family.”
