JD(U) & RJD train gunsat Congress leadership
The disastrous performance of the Congress in three key states has revealed bitterness within the six-month-old opposition INDIA bloc, formed to challenge the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The JD(U) of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar blamed the Congress’ arrogance for the poor performance, alleging that it ignored its allies and failed to fight unitedly. The JD(U) and RJD criticized the Congress for not honoring seat-sharing requests and sidelining regional partners. Political analysts suggest that the Congress became overconfident and ignored its allies, leading to the disastrous outcome.
