Jaipur: State BJP president CP Joshi slammed the Congress for its silence on the IT raid unearthing Rs 300 crores of black money from the establishments of Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu. In a press conference held at the party office on Saturday, he said, “The huge cache of money found at Congress MP Sahu’s places is accumulated through corrupt practices.This is how Congress leaders loot people in their ruled states.” He added that Congress’s downfall is the result of their consistent politics of looting, lying, and dividing people.

Chhattisgarh Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu and state Congress chief Deepak Baij were trailing in their respective seats in the state assembly elections. Sahu was behind by 1,365 votes against BJP’s Lalit Chandrakar in Durg Rural seat, while Baij was trailing by 518 votes against BJP’s Vinayak Goyal in Chitrakot seat. Chhattisgarh assembly speaker Charan Das Mahant was also trailing in Sakti seat by 897 votes against BJP’s Khilawan Sahu. State minister Guru Rudra Kumar was behind by 660 votes against BJP’s Dayaldas Baghel in Nawagarh seat.
