JAIPUR: Rajasthan stood second in the country in prevention of corruption act cases, revealed the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report for Crime in India-2020.
With 363 cases registered last year, Rajasthan was second only to Maharashtra, which filed 664 cases under the prevention of corruption Act.

DG (ACB) BL Soni said the special helpline number was set up by the agency. “We receive scores of complaints on helplines numbers. Maximum attention is assigned to closely monitor each complaint,” he said, adding that the agency has been working to help people who are asked to pay bribes.
After Maharashtra, Rajasthan reported maximum cases of arrests and organising traps. The ACB for the past several months have exposed multiple high-profile corruption rackets including the one under investigation involving two senior IAS officers posted in Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC).
