Will demolish all walls that stop people from getting benefits: J&K LG Manoj Sinha | India News

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Lt governor Manoj Sinha said on Monday that the administration will demolish all those walls which come in the way of development and extending benefits to all.
Targetting political opponents in the Union territory, Sinha said there are vested interests who don’t want the common man in J&K to get the best benefits which people living in other parts get.
“There are vested interests here who are holding back development in J&K. People who send their children to foreign universities for eduction, buy houses overseas and go for medical treatment abroad can’t stop the common man here from availing benefits. We will not allow this to continue. We will take all steps to bring the benefits to everyone living here,” Sinha said while addressing the first Real Estate Summit in the UT.
At the summit, 39 MoUs were signed between real estate developers and J&K govt with intended investment of Rs 18,000 crore in the real estate sector. Sinha said the UT administration will try to host an event for the real estate sector in May 2022.

“We will provide all assistance including reduction in stamp duty for real estate sector. We will ensure the best Single Window System,” Sinha said.
The Lt governor urged the real estate sector to come and make the world’s best convention centre in J&K so that people should opt to come here rather than Davos.
