Jaisalmer: A man and woman committed suicide in Barmer district on Wednesday. According to police, the two were allegedly having an affair and killed themselves by hanging from the same rope in a room at Sangaseri village. Police said, the woman was married and a mother of four and the man is survived by two children and wife. Both were from different villages. Police kept the bodies at the district hospital mortuary. The bodies were handed over to their respective families after the postmortem on Thursday.
According to the family of the deceased, Sangaseri resident Madharam and his wife had some dispute on Tuesday after which the wife left for her parents’ house with her children. tnn
