Bharatpur: Bharatpur Case: Cops To Book Man Who Bought Suv | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Bharatpur police, investigating the murder case of Nasir and Junaid, on Monday said they have information that a firm by the name of Salasar Traders had purchased the SUV in an auction by the zila parishad, Jind.
The firm had also given an undertaking that the vehicle would be sold as scrap. Since the buyer further sold it and the vehicle was used in a crime, the owner of the firm that purchased is likely to be booked under Section 120-B of IPC for criminal conspiracy.
Senior police officers stated that in 2020 Salasar Traders (police wished not to name the firm’s owner) had purchased the vehicle in an auction since the vehicle was outdated as the vehicle’s BS4 engine was banned in Delhi and NCR.
“Despite that he not only sold it further but also, did not bother to communicate it to the zila parishad, Jind. Thus, we are planning to book this buyer for criminal conspiracy,” said Shyam Singh, superintendent of police, Bharatpur.
Police stated that it appears the cow vigilantes involved in other acts of vigilantism in Haryana had purposely used this vehicle in the crime. On the possible arrests, Singh said, “Teams are raiding places in Haryana, but we are yet to get further breakthrough.”
