Bundi Collector Meets Deceased Farmer’s Kin, Assures Govt Help | Jaipur News
KOTA: Bundi district collector Ravinder Goswami on Monday reached the house of deceased farmer Prathviraj Bairwa, who had committed suicide by over damage of wheat crop in Bajad village.
He expressed his condolence to the aggrieved family members while assuring them of all possible help from the government. Notably, Goswami had sustained a ligament fracture on one of his legs on Saturday last week.
The deceased farmer’s son, Manish told the collector that his father was under a debt of Rs 7-10 lakhs, which he had taken for his sister’s marriage and farming over 2-3 bigha. He also worked as a daily wage labourer in Kota to run the household. District collector Goswami assured the family of monetary aid from the chief minister’s relief fund very soon and all possible help from the government.
Besides, widow pension would be sanctioned for Prathviraj Bairwa’s wife, construction of cattle shade under MNREGA and NFSA benefit to the family. He also added that the survey of crop damage in the district was also underway.
