Jaisalmer: Encroachments Over 100 Bigha Govt Land Cleared In Jaisalmer | Jaipur News
Jaisalmer: The encroachment squad of urban improvement trust freed more than 100 bighas of encroached government land worth crores of rupees in Amarsagar and Moolsagar in Jaisalmer district. Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) secretary Rajendra Singh Chandawat said that the squad removed more than 100 temporary and permanent encroachments.
He said that the general public was informed not to encroach the land, do illegal farming or any kind of illegal possession of land of UIT ownership in the jurisdiction of Jaisalmer and if anybody encroaches the land then action will be taken along with demolishing the encroachment. He added the expenses will be collected from the encroacher and the items seized from the spot will be auctioned.
He said that legal action against the encroacher will be done separately. He said that those who have encroached the UIT land should remove it within 7 days of this information otherwise the entire responsibility will be of the encroacher.
