Man Fights Robbers, Saves ₹12l Jewellery | Jaipur News

Kota: A man accompanied by his wife and two children was attacked by unidentified miscreants who tried to rob off a bag in his hand containing jewellery reportedly worth Rs 12 lakh outside a jewellery shop at Borkheda in Kota on Monday. However, the man fought back with the miscreants and succeeded in saving the valuables from being looted.
A 31-second CCTV footage of the clash between the man and miscreants and his successful attempt to foil the robbery bid went viral on Tuesday.
After the victim, Rishab Jain, a resident of Bundi, submitted a complaint on Monday late evening, police lodged a case under relevant section against the unidentified miscreants and dispatched police teams to suspected locations of the accused, but none of them have been traced so far, said circle inspector (CI) at Borkheda police station Babulal.
The incident happened on Borekheda main road on Monday evening when some unidentified miscreants, already alert on the spot outside the shop, attacked the complainant and attempted to snatch off the bag containing jewellery, claimed to be worth around Rs 12 lakh, said the CI.
In the clip, assailants are seen attacking Jain to rob the bag and in an attempt to save it, he falls on the roadside but rises up and runs to the shop, throws the bag inside the shop and returns to take his wife and two children.
