Rajasthan Housing Board bags Golden Globe Awards in two categories in Malaysia | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), on Tuesday, bagged the prestigious Golden Globe Awards in two categories in Malaysia.
The board has been awarded in the Best Environment Friendly Projects and Best Innovative Project of the Year categories by the jury of the World HRD Council.
While award for the Best Environment Friendly Projects category was given for the recently opened City Park in Mansarovar in Jaipur, the board had bagged the award in Best Innovative Project category for the Coaching Hub Project in Pratap Nagar in Jaipur.
“The continuous accolades show the commitment and hard work of the Board towards the common people of Rajasthan. I would like to congratulate all the employees of boards and would like to thank the common people for their continuous support towards the Board for this achievement,” Pawan Arora, the housing commissioner, commented in the release issued by the state government.
A team of engineers, led by chief engineer (I) KC Meena, received the award at the Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Center Hotel.
Sprawled over an area of 52 acres, City Park was inaugurated by chief minister Ashok Gehlot on October 21, 2022.
It is considered as the latest tourist attraction in Jaipur.
On the other hand, in the lines of Kota, RHB is constructing a Coaching Hub in Pratap Nagar, where coaching institutions would run coaching centres with residential facilities.
The chief minister is expected to inaugurate the first phase of the Coaching Hub in June.
In the last four years Rajasthan Housing Board has received 17 awards, including the World Book of Records in House Sales and the SKOCH Award-2021.
