Colonies In Ecological Zone Cannot Be Regularised: Min | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Urban development minister Shanti Dhariwal said on Thursday that the regularisation of colonies located in the ecological zone on Jaipur-Agra Road was not possible as it is under consideration of Supreme Court of India.
Replying to supplementary questions, Dhariwal said an order was issued by the Jodhpur bench of Rajasthan High Court on January 12, 2017, banning the regularisation of colonies in ecological zones. He said land leases were given in 37 ecological zones in this area before 2017.
The minister clarified that after the HC’s order, land leases could not be given in the pending schemes. He also informed that JDA has filed an SLP in the SC against the HC’s decision.
