Jaisalmer Bhim Army Boss Attacked | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: A few persons attacked and seriously injured Jaisalmer Bhim Army’s president Harish Inkhia at Gandhi Colony on Sunday. Police on Monday arrested three accused and are searching for others.
Jaisalmer SP Bhanwar Singh Nathawat told TOI that on March 19 Harish reported the attack on him. He stated in his report that on Sunday evening while he was having tea in Gandhi Colony some persons identified as Genaram Bhil, Madhu Lohar, Amiya Hazuri, Mahipal Singh Harsani and four-five others approached him. Genaram had a sword in his hand while Madhu Lohar carried an iron rod. Genaram hit Harish on his head while Lohar attacked him on his legs. Others also beat up Harish. The attack left Harish with a fractured left hand and left leg. Harish said that he was attacked as he was advocating cases of SC/ST. Investigation has begun in the matter.
SP Nathawat said that looking at the gravity of the case deputy SP of ST cell, Jaisalmer has been given special directions. Different police teams have started looking for the accused. Madhu, Mahipal and Genaram, all residents of Jaisalmer, have been arrested. tnn
