Jaipur: A 30-year-old man earning his bread and butter by filling air in the tyres of trucks and other vehicles at Transport Nagar area under NEB police station in Alwar died when the tyre of a truck burst while filling air on Wednesday.
As the tyre burst, the rim of the tyre flew off and hit his head. He was undergoing treatment and succumbed on Thursday. According to police, the man identified as Aslam had a shop where he used to fill air in the tyres and was also into repairing of puncher of tyres.
“As usual Aslam was filling air in the rear tyre of the truck. Suddenly the tyre burst, and the rim of the tyre flew off and hit him on his head with a high speed. He sustained injuries and blood started coming out of his head. He was rushed to the hospital by the people who were at his shop,” said an official. TNN
