Jaipur: The enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority on Tuesday demolished an illegal structure constructed in the ecological zone in Amer on Tuesday.
“Right adjacent to the Gomti Vihar colony in Amer under Zone 10 of JDA an illegal structure comprising a house and a warehouse was illegally constructed. The area falls under the ecological zone. We have completely demolished the structure on Tuesday morning,” said Raghuveer Saini, chief of the enforcement wing of JDA.
JDA officials said, this piece of land belongs to the state government and on instructions of officials of Zone 10 the enforcement department took possession of the land maintaining zero tolerance policy against illegal encroachment of government lands.
