Another bout of heat wave begins in Rajasthan | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Heat wave conditions revived at majority of the places in the state on Thursday as a rise of 3°C was recorded.
Barmer and Dholpur remained hottest in the state where a maximum temperature of 47.1°C was recorded, the Met repots said.
Jaipur Met office said that heat wave conditions will aggravate in the state in the next few days and a few places might get a maximum temperature of up to 48°C.
Attributing the climatic change to the active northerly winds and vanishing of factors like upper air cyclonic circulation and western disturbances, Jaipur Met office warned that heat wave conditions will aggravate in the state in the next 48 hours. Majority of the places will witness further rise in their maximum and minimum temperatures.
People in Jaipur experienced a comparatively warmer morning as a minimum temperature of 30.8°C was recorded. It was followed by an afternoon having a maximum temperature of 45.5°C. Some days ago, Jaipur had its maximum temperature of 45.6°C. Roads were empty in the afternoon as people remained confined to their homes. Even in evening at 7pm, the mobile phones showing maximum temperature of 43°C.
Jaipur Met office stated that except some minor relief of one or two days, heat wave conditions will aggravate. “No wonder Jaipur might get its maximum temperature up to 46.5°C in this season in the coming days.”
Barmer and Dholpur were followed by Sangaria of Hanumangarh where a maximum temperature of 46.8°C was recorded, Churu 46.6°C, Karauli and Pilani 46.5°C each, Sriganganagar 46.2°C, Nagaur 46.1°C, Bikaner and Jaislamer 46°C each, Kota 45.5°C, Jodhpur 45.1°C, Chittorgarh 45°C, Alwar 44.6°C, Ajmer and Sikar 44°C each and 42.6°C in Udaipur.
In its forecast, Jaipur Met office stated that heat wave conditions would further aggravate in the coming days when some places are likely to have a maximum temperature of 50°C.
