Another held in forged patta case in Jaipur | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Police on Friday arrested another person for his alleged involvement with the gang that sold forged land deeds and other property documents in the city.
DCP (North) Paris Deshmukh said the accused was identified as Vikas Rajvats (46), a resident of Pratap Nagar in Jaipur.
Police on Thursday unearthed the racket and arrested six persons, including its mastermind Mahendra Jain. The other accused held so far are Dinesh alias Kalu (34), a resident of Kho Nagoriyan, Ravi Sain (27), Abdul Ghani (53), Nasimuddin (50) and Nasruddin.
Deshmukh said police have decided to reopen two cases of property disputes where the accused had forged land deeds.
“The entire case is being properly investigated. It was a big racket and we have arrested key players of the gang so far. We are also examining roles of other suspects in the case,” he said. They would sell these counterfeit documents for Rs 25,000.
