Anurag Maloo was ‘rescued by famous Polish mountaineer Adam Bielecki’ | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: A day after Anurag Maloo — the 34-year-old mountaineer from Kishangarh in Rajasthan — was rescued alive from a crevasse at Mt Annapurna, a video of the rescue operation has emerged on social media.
The video shows renowned Polish climber Adam Bielecki leading the rescue team.
Officials close to the developments in Nepal disclosed, Adam Bielecki and one of his friends were part of the ground search and rescue team to locate Anurag Maloo.
They were leading a team of six Sherpa climbers.
Anurag was found in some 300m deep crevasse on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, Anurag has been shifted from Mahipal Hospital in Pokhara to MediCity Hospital in Kathmandu.
“Anurag is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kathmandu and is presently in ICU. His condition is critical, but stable. In fact, his condition on Friday is better than that of Thursday. Although there are on sign of external fractures, doctors are presuming that Anurag might have suffered some internal fractures,” said Aunrag’s relative Dharmendra Maheshwari.
Anurag — a resident of Aditya Mill Colony in Kishangarh — had been awarded REX Karam-Veer Chakra.
He became the 2041th Antarctic Youth Ambassador from India and is on a mission to climb all 14 peaks above 8,000 metres and the seven highest points in all seven continents to create awareness and drive action towards achieving the UN Global Goals.
