A native of Karauli district, Meena purchased illegal firearms from Dhar in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 22,000 apiece and sold them in Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Dholpur and Bharatpur for Rs 30,000.
“The accused purchased weapons in bulk from Madhya Pradesh. He delivered weapons in his luxury car to evade suspicion,” Bishnoi said.
The accused was under the scanner of the crime branch for a long time. Police had deployed inspectors Mangi Lal Vishnoi and Panna Lal to track down the accused.
