Jaipur: Family members of an accused attacked the policeunder the Malpura Gate police station area of the city when police teams were trying to arrest the accused on Saturday. The police reported that family members and relatives of the accused resisted the arrest operation, leading to an assistant sub-inspector filing a report against those involved in the assault.The incident unfolded when a police team attempted to arrest the accused, identified as Abhishek. However, family members and associates of the accused present at the scene tried to obstruct the arrest by resorting to physical violence against the police team. An investigation has been initiated into the matter to hold those responsible for the assault accountable for their actions.

Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district shot and killed an accused criminal who was wanted for a looting and murder case. The accused, named Farukh, was involved in an incident where a businessman and his wife were attacked and robbed. The wife succumbed to her injuries, while the husband remains in critical condition. Police recovered the stolen car, a pistol, cartridges, and a large sum of cash from the suspect. The suspect opened fire on the police during the encounter and was killed in the exchange of fire.
