Artists and students showcase their creativity in an international art camp | Jaipur News


International art camp ‘Sarjana 2023’
The participating students include from JJ School of Art, Mumbai; College of Art, Delhi; Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata. At the end of the camp, around 50 paintings, sculptures and installations made by all the artists and participant students were displayed at a two days exhibition organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra.

Portraits by Cai Qing were displayed, while the beauty of Mithila art work was seen in SC Suman’s painting. Similarly, artist KK Gandhi displayed the beauty of the first ray of sunrise amidst the mountains on the huge canvas through colors. Sculptures of self-portraits prepared by Mahesh Anjarlekar of Mumbai were also displayed in the exhibition. The specialty of this creation is that the elements of fish were given prominence by the artist Anjarlekar. Debabrata Das reflected the journey of life through a painting of a monkey, while Vinod Kumar’s painting depicted wheat plants using the natural colors of clay. The abstract painting made by Amit Kalla was also well received by the visitors.

An impressive performance of performing arts was also given by Zidrija Janusaite of Lithuania. A large number of art lovers observed the artifacts of this exhibition on both the days.
