Ashok Gehlot: Shekhawat’s Case Against Gehlot: Delhi Police Given One More Month | Jaipur News

Jaipur: In the defamation case filed against chief minister Ashok Gehlot by Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Delhi Police has been given one more month’s time by the Rouse Avenue Court for investigation.
Delhi Police had sought time from the court claiming that in some matters the reply was yet to be received.
The Rouse Avenue Court will next hear the matter on May 25.
The special operations group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police registered an FIR in the Sanjivani multi-cooperative credit society scam case in the year 2019, alleging that thousands of investors were duped of several hundred crores of rupees. Many arrests have been made on the basis of the FIR but the SOG has not yet filed the final charge sheet. Shekhawat has not been made an accused in both the charge sheets presented so far.
CM Ashok Gehlot has been accusing Shekhawat of being the main culprit in the Sanjivani scam. tnn
