Over 32,000 schools participated in the Battle of Minds Indian Army Quiz 2023, with St Johns School BLW of Varanasi emerging as the winner. The event was executed under The Times of India’s Teach India CSR initiative and aimed to promote inclusivity in quizzing. The quiz was felicitated by Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, along with General Manoj Pande and Archana Pande. The finals took place at Manekshaw Centre and the quarter-finals included a special round at the Kargil War Memorial. The quiz emphasized the transformative power of quizzing and the broader purpose of reaching out to schools. The winning team of Harish Mambla, Swasti Gupta, and Ashwini Kumar highlighted the importance of team chemistry in quizzing. Minister Chandrashekhar emphasized the impact of the quiz in acquainting the younger generation with the stories of our country’s forces.

Piramal Group launches Piramal School of Leadership (PSL) Jaipur to foster a network of government leaders dedicated to enhancing service delivery. PSL aims to train 50,000 leaders annually, with potential to increase to 150,000. The school includes five specialized schools focusing on education, climate and sustainability, health, justice, and inclusion. PSL targets India’s 30 million public officials, providing leadership development through programs like Gandhi Fellowship and Karuna Fellowship. Piramal Foundation aims to improve the lives of marginalized communities through youth empowerment and strengthening government systems.
