The water level of Saryu river is increasing. Heavy rains in the mountains and the arrival of monsoon have gradually brought Saryu closer to the danger mark. At present, the water level of Saryu is 92 cm, which is 73 cm below the danger mark. But, rapidly rising water remains a matter of concern.
